We dispatch orders within 2 business days of confirmation (which we'll arrange with you via the contact form). All books are carefully wrapped and sent Royal Mail.

Delivery Times
Domestic Standard Shipping: 2–4 business days once dispatched. Most orders arrive within this window, though occasionally weather or Royal Mail schedules add a day or two.
International Shipping: Available on request. Because costs and timings vary considerably by destination, please get in touch via the contact form with your postcode and we'll provide a quote and estimated delivery window tailored to where you are.
Returns on New Books
New books can be returned within 14 days of receipt if they remain unread and in their original condition — dust jacket intact, pages unmarked, spine uncreased. We'll arrange an exchange for a different title or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
To arrange a return, please get in touch with your order details and the reason for the return. We'll send you a return label and handle the rest.
Secondhand Books — Sold As Described
Every secondhand book is graded carefully and described honestly. We use a standard grading system — Like New, Very Good, Good — and include condition notes wherever there's anything a reader should know: a pencilled name on the endpaper, a slight crease to the spine, foxing on the page edges, a small inscription.
Because secondhand books are sold in the condition stated, returns are only accepted if a book arrives in noticeably worse condition than described, or if it's been damaged in transit. If either happens, we'll replace it or offer a full refund at no extra cost.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Your book should arrive exactly as described and in perfect reading condition. If something goes wrong — a book arrives damaged, the wrong title was sent, or pages are loose — please contact us right away with your order details and a brief description of the problem (a photo helps).
We'll replace the book or refund you in full, at no extra cost. We take pride in what we send, and we want you to be happy with what you receive.
